What’s McCain So Nervous About Trump’s Overseas Trip?

Monday in an interview with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s “7:30,” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) said he understands President Donald Trump’s unpredictability makes people feel nervous about international security adding that the president also makes him “nervous from time to time.”

McCain said, “I am nervous from time to time. I do believe that the President has great confidence in the national security team. I do believe most of the time that he accepts their advice and counsel. Can I tell you that he does that all the time? No. Does it bother me? Yes, it bothers me.”

I guess he’s, perhaps, not been paying attention on the whole to how well the President has been doing overseas. Getting many applause and thanks for our friends and allies, and has even turned a few heads (positively) here back at home from many we wouldn’t have ever thought would.
