I’m glad he didn’t take this crap lying down! Sebastian Gorka, a White House adviser, abruptly walked out of a panel on Monday after some Georgetown students asked him about his affiliation with Nazi sympathizers.
In a 6 minute exchange with those students, who were holding a conference about cyber-security entitled “News, Alternative Facts, and Propaganda: The Role of Cyber in Influence Operations”, they asked Gorka to explain his anti-Religion of Peace rhetoric and his ties to Vitezi Rend, a group apparently founded by a Nazi collaborator.
Gorka reportedly lived in Hungary for years and is said to be a member of the group. The group has deep ties to anti-Semites and neo-fascists. He’s also reportedly the co-founder of a far-right (“alt-right?”) political party that’s often been described as “fascist”.
This is in contrast to what the man is. Gorka dismisses these allegations and says they are “fake news propaganda” and even raised his voice to defend his father who had received a medal from the “anti-Communist organization”, stating that it was recognition for his fathers “resistance to fascist and Communist dictatorship.”

“It’s clear you’ve never read anything I’ve written,” Gorka said defensively. “I spent six and a half years in the Defense Department teaching Muslim officers — half of my students at Fort McNair were Muslim officers — if I had done anything the likes of which you accused me of, I wouldn’t have been able to work for 6.5 years as a Defense Department employee.”
