WHOA! Canada Forced to Invoke 44-Year-Old Treaty Against the United States

What else is new with the Biden regime? Back when we had President Trump in charge it was win after win after win.

Our country was thriving, and everyone would still be thriving if it weren’t for the sham election and the media-fueled hate from the left.

With the Biden regime we’re getting handed loss after loss after loss and the whole country is being run into the ground. The sad part is that it’s not even just our country that’s getting the crappy end of the stick here either. We’ve already seen what happened in Afghanistan a couple of months ago. The whole country is now under the control of a terrorist organization and a dozen American soldiers are dead thanks to him.

Then they sent out multiple drone strikes which killed over a dozen children. But it’s not just Afghanistan that’s tired of Biden’s crap, Canada is, too. So much so that they have formally invoked a treaty from 1977 to negotiate an important petroleum pipeline for Canada after the Biden regime and the Wicked Witch of the North Governor Gretchen Whitmer have threatened shutting it down in Michigan.

The move escalates a dispute in which U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has been reluctant to intervene. Last May, U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm told reporters the White House had no plans to get involved, saying it would be up to the courts to settle.

“The Biden administration will not be able to duck this issue any longer,” Toronto international trade lawyer Lawrence Herman said on Monday.

The development – which is the first time the Transit Pipelines Treaty has been invoked – follows a breakdown in court-ordered mediation talks last month between Enbridge Inc. and Michigan, where Governor Gretchen Whitmer has ordered Line 5 to cease shipping petroleum along the bottom of the state’s Straits of Mackinac waterway, citing the risk of spills.
